Delicate beadwork and wire work
Inspired by European fashion combined with the naivety of African art, Get Wired’s distinctive design combine beadwork and delicate wire work. Each item is exquisitely handcrafted by a group of woman who have been financially and emotionally empowered by being able to earn money making these products in their own homes in Crossroads, Cape Town.
By working in their own environment they are each running their own business, determining their own income, while most of them are the sole income provider and able to increase their earning capacity at will, others are able to further their education as they work in their own time.

Hi there,
I was in Sossesvlei inNamibia. There was a throw over on the back of one of the couches. I do have a belt and a little handbag and that is how I know where the throw over came from. Do you do this sort of thing still. I was so impressed when I was in Cape Town yonks ago, when you had just started up with these wonderful group of people.
